An all-in-one weather station and heat safety meter, the 5400FW provides a complete solution for wildland firefighters! The 5400FW measures vital environmental factors and features built-in calculation of Probability of Ignition (PIG) and Fine Dead Fuel Moisture (FDFM) without the need for reference tables. In addition, the meter calculates Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT), an important measure of heat stress for firefighters since WBGT includes the effects of radiant heat from the sun, fire, or hot surfaces.
